Your information, handled with care.

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or engage us, why we collect it, and the choices you have over it.

Korvanta Group (“Korvanta”, “we”, “us”) provides cross-border procurement and trade-execution services. This policy covers personal information handled through korvantagroup.com and the services we provide.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and deliver our services:

  • Information you provide. When you request a consultation, we collect your name, organisation, email, phone or WhatsApp number, market or country, and the details of your requirement. If we open a Client Portal account for you, we also hold your account details and the messages and documents you exchange with us.
  • Information collected automatically. Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view, recorded in standard server logs and through cookies that are essential to running the site.

2. Cookies

We use only cookies that are necessary to operate the website and the secure Client Portal — for example, to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy first.

3. How we use your information

  • Respond to and scope your consultation request;
  • Deliver and administer procurement, supply, logistics, and trade-execution engagements;
  • Operate the Client Portal and keep you updated on your orders;
  • Maintain the security of our systems and prevent fraud;
  • Meet our legal, tax, accounting, and trade-compliance obligations.

4. Legal bases

Where data-protection law applies, we rely on one or more of the following: performing a contract or taking steps at your request before a contract; your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business; and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary:

  • With service providers who process data on our behalf — such as website hosting and email delivery — under confidentiality obligations;
  • With the banks, inspection agencies, freight and customs partners needed to execute your specific order;
  • With authorities or advisers where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. International transfers

We operate between China and markets across Africa, the Middle East, and other emerging markets, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take reasonable steps to protect it consistently with this policy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, trade, and accounting requirements — after which we delete or anonymise it.

8. How we protect it

We use technical and organisational measures — including access controls, encryption of data in transit, and least-privilege administration — to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal information, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent you have given. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.
